Gold Class

A new super luxury Trans-Siberian rail service Moscow to Beijing was inaugurated this week. You can enjoy the 5,800 mile long trip in a 77 square foot gold class mini suite. The suite comes with power showers, under floor heating, DVD/CD player, LCD TV, individual air conditioning, recessed lighting and wardrobe space. The 14 day trip costs $19,000. Slightly smaller suites are offered in silver class for $16,000.

The train has two restaurants and a bar. It makes several stops, including the Baikonur space center, and the Central Asian republics of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Tickets are sold out until November.
