FLY GOOGLE-EARTH TO INSPECT THE WORLD’S TOP 500 HOTELS

The Travel+Leisure magazine has a list of the 500 top hotels that it created based on recommendations from its readers. The list contains many great hotels worldwide and provides very useful information about each of them. Altogether a great list! Now T+L offers the added benefit of using the list in connection with GoogleEarth. Just use GoogleEarth to navigate to the destination you are interested in. The hotels are marked with blue dots. You can use GoogleEarth to inspect the hotel and its surroundings with a birds-eye view. To access information about the hotel just click on the blue dot.

Just click on a link on the T+L site and GoogleEarth will open up showing the top 500 hotels. In order to work it does require that you have GoogleEarth installed on a Windows computer. But if you don’t have GoogleEarth, T+L also offers a link to a Google site where you can download it for free. Bon voyage, have fun!
