The new iPod shuffle is great. It’s very small, it has good looks, and the new clip makes it wearable. It’s excellent for travel as it doesn’t take any space in your luggage and not even in your pockets.
But, it does have one drawback compared to the original iPod Shuffle: It does no longer come with a USB plug and can therefore not be used as a USB drive.
Now Thought Out has announced “The Key” which can be plugged into the new iPod Shuffle to provide it with a standard USB 2.0 plug. Problem solved!
In addition The Key has a key chain ring to add functionality. The Key will cost $22 and is expected in stores early first quarter 2007.
