Singapore will have countrywide Wi-Fi coverage by the end of this year. This is part of Singapore’s Intelligent Nation 2015 program that has even more far-reaching objectives,. The program seeks to make Singapore a global leader in communications technology in a decade. The objective is ambitious, but far from impossible for Singapore which is a small but ultra modern country.
Singapore will be the third country in the world to achieve countrywide Wi-Fi coverage. The first countries were Mauritius and Macedonia. Also Estonia is working on creating nationwide Wi-Fi coverage.
