Room Mate Hotels has made it to Manhattan. The hip Spanish hotel chain has hotels in several cities in Spain, and also in Miami Beach, and New York. In addition new hotels are to open in Buenos Aires and Mexico City soon.
Each Room Mate hotel has its own personality and has been given the name of a person. RoomMate offers a fresh new concept, rich on comforts, but less so on traditions, the place is refreshingly unconventional.
The first New York Room Mate, Grace is located in the heart of Times Square. It has a unique lobby and event space, complete with an indoor pool, sauna and steam room. A 24 hour kiosk is stocked with everything from the most basic supplies to the most decadent treats. It has a mezzanine level for hanging out in the evening, having breakfast in the mornings or to use as meeting or work space.
The rooms are comfortably supplied with all that you might need during your stay, including free WiFi, CD/DVD player, iPod dock, Egyptian cotton sheets, individual climate control, windows that open, mini-fridge, safe, 25” flat TV with cable, hairdryer and rainfall shower heads in the bathroom, etc.
Average daily rate start at $320 per room per night.
