An interesting addition to the New York hotel scene is Crosby Street Hotel with sister hotels in London. It offers a somewhat artsy and eccentric atmosphere on a quiet cobbled street in the heart of SoHo, between Prince and Spring Streets.
The rooms, all with high ceilings and full length windows, are comfortably equipped with the amenities you might expect, including WiFi, flat screen TV’s and iPod players. The hotel offers superior, luxury deluxe and courtyard deluxe rooms, plus junior and 1 and 2 bedroom suites.
The hotel has a bar, gym, screening room, facilities for events & meetings and even a rooftop vegetable garden.
Crosby will be one of the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified hotels in New York. The hotel is part of the small Firmdale Hotels chain.
Prices start at $525 per night, an introductory rate of $495 is being offered.
