Ritz-Carlton is about to introduce a new concept, Reserve, that offers luxurious one-of-a-kind boutique resorts each with a distinctive personality and sense of place reflecting its history and culture set. The locations are unique and close to nature. Sounds a bit like they might have been inspired by Aman Resorts.
The first Reserve will open in Phulay Bay, Thailand on the Andaman Sea in December. The resort has spectacular views and facilities include an infinity pool, destination spa, fitness center, shopping, cooking classes and Thai Batik painting, casual and formal dining, and live entertainment.
Ritz-Carlton Reserve Phulan Bay has 24 pavillions and 30 villas from 540 to 1,300 sq.feet, all of which feature distinctive touches such as flat screen televisions, large indoor baths, spacious walk-in wardrobes and delightful verandas appointed with lounge beds. Each villa has enhanced amenities including outdoor baths and private plunge pools.
The private resort is located 40 minutes from Krabi International Airport and two hours from Phuket International Airport
Prices start at $585 for the smallest pavillion and $2,035 for the largest villa per night.
