FEEL AIR – NY TO BANGKOK FOR 50% LESS

logo

Feel Air, a new Norwegian airline, promises airfares from New York to Bangkok, Thailand (via Scandinavia) for “50% below what is offered today”. In addition they promise “a fun lifestyle brand that offers great value at high safety and with impeccable service”.

The airline needs, however, yet to get air under its wings. The company plans to start operations in March or April 2010. The company will be using leased Airbus A330 planes.

Crew

Feel Air is calculating its low prices on a planned ability to utilize its fleet 16.7 hours a day, which raises the question: How will they be able to recover from delays?. One piece of luggage will be included in the price, but all food and entertainment onboard will come at extra charges. It is of course quite a long trip so be prepared to spend at least something on food and drink.

Bangkok is a great destination, but the airfares come at steep prices. So lower fares would be more than welcome for travelers. Other airlines might of course feel differently, but that’s another story.

Lets just hope that Feel Air will be able to beat the unfavorable odds that any upstart airline is facing, time will tell…
